How did I start Cosplaying?
I guess I’ve been into dressing up ever since I was a little girl dressing up in my Nan’s clothes . As a child, I wanted to be a fashion designer, as well as a princess, of course.
I grew up watching the animated series of Batman, Spiderman, Xmen, Dragon Ball Z and many other cartoons and anime. I loved it! I looked forward to loosing myself in the story lines and often fell asleep thinking about my favourite characters. When I wasn’t watching them I was a total Disney fan - still am.
I went to university and studied Theatrical Costume and Make up, where I learnt a lot of my skills. The rest I learnt from my mom.
The first Cosplay I ever did was Black Cat in 2015 at London MCM. It was there I saw there was an opportunity to make and design costumes, and I took it. The whole Cosplay clothing and culture became a big part of my life, and I have made so many friends and memories as a result.
Since then I started to make as many of my own costumes as I can. I keep pushing myself to do bigger and better projects
